This years Grand Shield contest in Blackpool saw 20 bands competed on the challenging music of Professor Peter Graham ' On The Shoulder of Giants. Comments such as:-

"The Fantasie Brillante displays rhythmic drive and the MD knows exactly what to accentuate in the score."
